| 135 Jamison Lane – Bechtel Corporation, Monreoville, PA
135 Jamison Lane is an existing 129,000 square foot office building that is being fully restored and renovated for Bechtel Plant Machinery, a design engineering division of Bechtel Corporation. This phase of the project, which also includes 16 acres of site development work, will be followed by the construction of a 50,000 square foot addition scheduled for completion in May 2008. When completed and fully occupied, 135 Jamison Lane will be home to more than 800 engineers and support personnel providing design engineering services to a defense department agency of the federal government. The project will bring 300+ new jobs to the region and was a high priority project for the Governor. Elmhurst worked with both Governor Rendell’s Action Team and the Allegheny County Department of Economic Development to successfully make this transaction work for both Bechel and the region as a whole. Desmone & Associates Architects serves as project architect and Burchick Construction is the general contractor. 135 Jamison Lane is projected to cost approximately $26 million. Availability |
